Gardenburger product debut on Portland Hamburgers. And yes, that is bacon on it. Personally I don't like Gardenburgers. They always seemed to turn into a mouthful of mush. This wasn't the traditional Gardenburger though. Some kind of "Herb Crusted Cutlet", apparently in the fashion of pork, or as Gardenburger puts it:
A savory seasoned veggie patty, lightly crusted with Japanese breadcrumbs, offering tender, juicy satisfaction.
Would like to find out about some good veggie burgers around Portland though. Seems pretty tough to pull off or make better then a Tempeh sandwich.
