Arizona: Bob Dobb's Bar & Grill




PattyDaddy unknowingly ate the doctrine:


I wanted to go here because of the name, thinking there may be a hook to the Slack Master, Reverend J.R. Bob Dobbs and the Church of the SubGenius. No such luck... just a bar near the U of A. Decent half pound burger, though, cooked as you like it. Pictured is the Bob burger ($7), made with garlic, worcestershire, and soy sauce. Very good fries. Draught Guinness.

I attending the University of Arizona and for a couple years lived just up the street, thus I've had many a burger (and more beer) at this place.

At one point in the early nineties they did have a nominal amount of Church of the Subgenius memorabilia on the walls. I assume its relevance has been lost on a younger generation. Respect the Slack!
